Looks like this is on same time in the morning as last years. 5am AEDT, this Sunday(6th), unless I muddled the conversion. 10am PST on Saturday(5th)!
Don't know if I will watch again I guess it just depends if I happen to wake at that time.
Will be interesting to see how the second year follows up. I wonder if this year they will have an equal to Street Fighter 5 being console exclusive to PS4 hopefully with out it getting out before hand of course.
Cheers for the heads-up All-knowing Spec (Well, almost all-knowing, as you don't know whether they've got a secret exclusive or not ). I'll probably watch it on-demand after the event, unless I'm having a rough night, usually good for some light entertainment, and we're almost guaranteed an awkward moment by a celebrity at some point to boot .
Sony flopped again with that ending choice of game for me as well big time, Drawn to Death last year, this year a MOBA.
The thing I enjoyed most was seeing Ono, I always enjoying seeing him, always brings a smile to my face and was glad he finally got to reveal a character that wasn't leaked.
There were alot of periods of just disinterest for me with what was being shown or said. The console exclusive or console début stuff is really tiring as well, I liked it better when it was exclusive or it wasn't and non of these "inbetween" terms existed.
So for me it was a poor conference.
PlayStation Experience 2015 - Keynote Presentation
Sorry to hear it wasn't as exciting as it could have been. Had some stuff to square away here, so haven't had a chance to watch it yet, might give it a bit of a gander this arvo, but may also give it a miss (thanks for letting us know that it wasn't so flash, and for posting it up ).
If you find you generally have some interest in smaller games that get announced and released I think you could get some mileage out of it, but its those periods that dragged it down for me because I just generally don't look at those games and get excited they just aren't for me. The COD and Destiny marketing bit was a drag but expected from now one, the VR section wasnt that great either its always going to be a hard sell out of getting hands on when the game visually look sub par.
Bunch of trailers on it from the conference but also other trailers for games just from the weekend. Also got several live-casts of interviews of games and stuff.
I watched the FFVII Remake gameplay trailer and I'm so hyped!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a major hardcore fan anymore but it brings back a lot of memories and I like the look of the new battle system, even though it's different to the original. Thinking of getting the HD port that's just been released as well
Cheers for the link all-knowing Spec . Gave the presentation a gander, thought it was fairly solid for a conference. Was a big fan of Rez back in the day, and something like that in VR would be pretty intense and a lot of fun. Ni No Kuni 2 was a pretty good announcement as well. I'm not into MOBAs, but Paragon at least looked polished, as did Battleborn (was impressed by couch coop with that, couch coop FTW ).
lol at FFVII being episodic - that's the new Squeenix . Hopefully the quality of the base game shines through, I remember playing the original back in '99, it was all quality .
PlayStation Experience 2015: Alienation LiveCast Coverage
Enjoy seeing stuff of this game, liked my little time with it at EB Expo. Quite dark yet colourful, plus HouseMarque and top down goes well with me.
While I haven't watched too many really enjoyed just seeing so many LiveCast videos getting uploaded, really enjoying more and more panels at these types of shows getting recorded now and uploaded, I remember when it really was only the bigger presentations that got recorded and if you didn't go to the smaller ones you'd miss out.
A big +1 to seeing the wide range of panels and talks being uploaded, I reckon it's tops too. Like you, I'll only watch a few (I'd bet good money not as many), but it's got to give greater exposure to smaller devs, and a broader look at things to us gamers . Cheers for posting All-knowing Spec .
