Okay - no excuses peeps... Rocket League is FREE on PS+. Has a 4 vs 4 mode. It's been a long time since we've all battled it out. What do you say about gathering some people up, pulling out the big guns and going to war against each other again. Teams of 4's should be easy enough, shouldn't it?

Just had a look at the trailer and it looks like a lot of fun. I can try to round up some more people we can all go crazy crashing and smashing into things? Haha.

We should have a bit of a 'community night' first, and then go from there. Does look like a good bit of fun though.

Well yeah - was never intending it to be anything serious. As Live said, just something where we can go crazy, blow each other up, smash into each other and be idiots. But yeah Hasan - should probably try it out as a community night first and see how it goes.

Sounds like a great idea .  Probs a bit quick for me, but if one of you with insanely good internet (hint, Clowny ) were to stream it, I could type trash talk from the sidelines .

Well, i have the game downloaded and it is indeed a lot fun. Would everyone be free tomorrow (which is Wednesday), at about 8:00 aest to jump on and have a laugh?

Yeah no worries mate - will try to get on then. As long as it's not Thursday night as that's Project Cars night.

Just a heads up though, the servers were down last night. Here's hoping that they have them up and running tonight.
If i get a chance, i will post up if they are online closer to 8pm.

Dunno if I'll be there - still waiting for it to download and it's gone to a crawl (says 4 hours now). Also got Styx, DA:I and Project Cars patches downloading. Had to update the OS as well. So many fucking updates every time I come on. lol.

Tried to pause it and all the other updates to see if it'd make it quicker but it doesn't want to go any faster for some reason.

EDIT - restarted PS4 with only that downloading and seems to have done the trick.

Downloaded and had a play.

One thing I will suggest is remapping the powerslide to L2 and reverse to Square. Makes it easier to get back on ball.
Also, in the rookie matches charging the ball seems to be an easy way to score a goal off the bat.

Going to bed, but I might be on this weekend.

Was on at 8pm - 8:45pm and nobody was on then so abandoned it.

Sorry Clowny! I got home at about 10pm. Heard that the servers weren't working till about 9:30 i think. Now that we know it works, we can organize something proper.

I won't do the organizing because i am not the best with punctuality. Usually get home late depending on the day. However, i will definitely try to be there.

Also, must be said. This. Game. Is. Awesome.

No worries at all mate - but agree, had a little go of it myself (tutorials and free practice) and I reckon 4v4 would be bloody top fun. It's a little deeper than I thought as well... easy to play, difficult to master.

Sounds great .  I downloaded it overnight, I'll be a bit slow to play it, but I can make sure a lobby's open at a particular time if we organise something - you could think of me as the waterboy? .

It does sound like great  fun.  I guess I will just see how long it takes them to figure out a way for cross-platform private matches to happen.
