Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is coming to PS4, available 9th October 2015

The team at Bluepoint Games is incomparable regarding their portfolio of achievements and remastered releases, and we’ve been working closely with them to bring over our engine to make Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection an exemplary game.

That means not only allowing you to play the single-player campaigns of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 1080p and 60fps with better lighting, textures, and models, but they’re also working on a range of improvements and additions across all three games.
We put together the list of these improvements and additions based on countless forum posts, messages, Tweets, and even through personal conversations we’ve had with a number of you over the years. More on these specifics in future updates.

It's not quite Fallout 4, but it's still great news and threadworthy I reckon .  I'll grab this for sure, I don't need to hook for an MP beta to get back into Uncharted .

Why call it 'Nathan Drake Collection'? Makes it sound like there is/will be other, non-Drake Uncharted's.

Yeah - will get one day eventually. I'd happily play through all of them once again. Would be great if they could use the UC2 engine for Drakes Fortune, just so that one doesn't stick out like a saw thumb.

Yeah, that's my only question. What will DF look like? I recently went back and played them all and DF looks like shite, sad to say.

Capturing those white-knuckle, trademark Uncharted moments has never been more fun than via the new Photo Mode tools built into the collection. Various improvements in lighting, rendering, texture mapping and dynamic audio mean all three games are looking and sounding better than ever.
New trophies and modes such as our Explorer, Speed Run, and Brutal Modes will invite long-time adventurers to replay these classics while welcoming newcomers to discover Uncharted greatness.

• Explorer Mode is an all-new mode for beginners where combat difficulty is reduced greatly.
  
• Speed Run Mode adds a timer that allows players to track their gameplay time against their friends as they play sections of the game.
  
• Brutal Difficulty Mode is the ultimate challenge as the gameplay will be more punishing than Crushing Difficulty (unlocked after beating Crushing Difficulty in the same game)

You can even play all three single-player games in the collection as Doughnut Drake (or any one of over 65 other characters skins) if you’re so inclined. A lot of new polish, hard work and love were put into making this the ultimate Uncharted collection.

I'm a sucker for a good photo mode (although am also a fan of the new 'super easy' mode as well) - both features have me well sold on this, cheers for the news Spec .

Wasn't planning on getting this but the nostalgia and upgrades make it so tempting . The super easy "Explorer" mode sounds great too!

Yeah - I think I'll get it as well... I wish Sony would release this stuff on PC. At least after that particular generation is over, so 4 wouldn't come out until PS5 - if that makes any sense.

Preferred the bare-bones mp of Uncharted 2 with Power Weapon pick ups, as opposed to Uncharted 3 which was similar to COD. It had killstreaks, perks etc. Barely played U3 multiplayer,

I reckon I'll pick up (not literally) the digital copy of this so it'll be easy to play and go back and forth to at any time . Worked for switching games around TLoU so I've gotten used to that, hehe. I've got about $44 PSN credit at the moment so I'll either spend it on this or Tearaway Unfolded digitally if I can't get the Special Plushie physical Edition of that. Or I might get both digitally. Hmmm...
