[Rogue]

My PS4 prompted me to update the system software to version 2.04 this arvo. Had a few goes at downloading the file but kept getting an error message. Eventually the download commenced and the 217.2 MB file has just finished downloading and is installing now. Fingers crossed there aren't any installation issues!

Others have had the same issue trying to download but no word from Sony about it or what it's fixing yet.

Update: ok so all the details say it's fixing is system stability with certain features. No other details included.

Still getting the error here, and can't access the PSN store on the PS3 as well, so something's up with the network.  Looks like it's just a case of being persistent.

Yeah the rollout of this update was a bit shit. I was still getting an error after I updated but then connected to PSN after I left it for a couple of minutes. Weird.

Yeah, they're usually pretty smooth, I wonder what happened?  Good bet we'll never know.  Mine sorted itself out before too long as well, hopefully Sony's engineers didn't have too rough a day/night!
