On GG, we store all of our vids in a database, which lets us do funky things with 'em like easily find the highest rated, or the ten most recently posted, or similar.  All of the comments on each vid are linked between the threads you'll find in the forum, and the vids themselves (acessible through our 'Vids' page, via the 'Info' section of the nav menu), so feel free to view them on either.

We also strongly encourage members to link any trailers or dev diaries they've seen on youtube that they'd like to share with the community.  To link these vids, go to this page, press the 'Add Vid' button and fill out the fields as per the guidelines below:

Category: Leave this on 'Trailers or Dev Diaries'

Vid Title: This is the name of your vid, and the heading for the forum and vid page.

Youtube ID: This is the youtube video ID, Not the full URL. This is the value after the first "=", and before any ? or & signs. For example, in the following URL, the Youtube ID would be q5mfWxCgIvs (in bold red in this example).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5mfWxCgIvs&list=SP828C6922DB0A0A44&index=1&feature=plcp

Description: The description for your video.  You have 1000 characters to play with.

Length: The length of your video, in minutes and seconds (ie, 2:04).

Highlight: Do not touch this field - this is used to control which vids show up in our highlights on the Video page, and is for staff only.  Play with this and risk losing your privileges to post vids.

Any questions, post away below. Note that the videos need to be within GG's Terms of Service - so if it would be inappropriate for the forums, then it's inappropriate in a video.
