Starting Date: 7:30pm - 9:30pm: Thursday 20th Nov

To celebrate the 10th year of Killzone and the release of 'The Academy' map, we are hoping people are about due for a 2 hour break from Destiny and the new CoD to revisit Vectra and Helgan.

Top stuff Jyks .  I'll be there one way or another, although still running a bit rough at this end, so might be a bit late, and the chance of me being on comms is pretty slim, not that that's a bad thing .

Chances are we will not be there from the start due to DLS rubbish but we'll try to get there later.

I'll spam my PSN friends list (well, the ones that played KZ:SF) tonight, hopefully we'll get a few.  Also, am happy to set up Jyks if that'd help?  I may not be that with it, but I can get the game set up in advance and just press go .

Hey Axe, got ya PSN message but was a bit late in the evening to respond    Thanks for sending that message out, much appreciated.

More than happy for you to setup the server, given you  know what you are actually doing in there.   I'll be on 7:30pm sharp.

@AroGantz - shame about stupid day light saving mate, that really does make co-ordinating stuff with WA people a pain in the rear.

@Hasan - yeah not sure about the turn out size either, given FC4, GTAV and that Destiny thing

Can happily confirm it's 9:30pm NZ - Google and "Current Auckland Time" were my friend .  Set the warzone up this morning - 24 players max, passcode of 747, FF on, parties off, so it's all ready to go.  We've also got 'switch faction' on, so I've gone for every mode for both of the new maps (The Academy and Statue), rather than lots of small games (as we can switch factions to even if it gets unbalanced), but if peeps don't like this there's still time to change.  Also, only went with the two new maps because we went with all the modes, but can go more maps with less modes, but then there's a risk people jumping in for a little while won't get the new maps.

Game name is ANZ Community Night at the Academy, or similar .

Was great,  still definitely my favourite PS4 online game so far.  Gone off Destiny, not played it in over a month.  Was late into the party at the Academy but got to work as soon as I arrived cleaning out those dirty ISA invaders
The Statue was a complete mind bender as far as trying to figure out the map, we spent a good deal of time there and I still couldn't even begin to map it in my head properly.

Good to see you guys again,  let me know if you have any other KZ reunions in the future.

Great game all, tops fun .  Sorry I couldn't hang around for longer (although it sounds like the servers didn't want us around for too much longer in any event ).  Cheers to Jyks for making it happen, and for everyone that played for some great times . A particular thinks to Callfire for his guidance in getting around that Statue map .

Thanks for setting things up Axe and informing the masses    Bigger turn out than I expected given Dragon Age dropped yesterday but some fun was had.

And yes the servers just went crazy after you left, some players got booted, some skipping all over the map.  I think Callfire grabbed some footage of the oddities.

Probably my last return to KZ:SF in terms of the MP.  So I would like to thank Axe for his efforts in keeping KZ alive and all the players from BTG, SPT, NGG, NZG, FCK, WpR, VVV and others I have forgotten for supporting our community nights and providing a place for us KZ diehards to still get some enjoyment from the game.

Might wait for the release silly season to die down a bit 1st, soo many games releasing and DLC drops but will look into it in the new year (plus I am starting on some DA:I co-op comp ideas )

Woohoo derailed!!

Yep, got it and enjoyed the initial prologue and some exploring last night while it was still downloading.  Will be hitting the co-op up over the weekend as quite a few WpR members have it and a bunch of the old ME3 crew are into it already.  Will send ya in invite if I see ya on, trying to convince Fitzy its a goer but others are trying to sucker him into GTA 5
