Killzone Shadow Fall

(Community Night)

Starting Date: Thursday, 24 July, 7:30pm AEDST/9:30pm NZDST

It's our regular Thursday night Killzone session - all ANZers welcome for a friendly game of Killzone: Shadowfall without random people from other parts of the world dropping in and messing with our latency .  

Game name: ANZ Battlefest (with something at the end depending on what people vote for, eg - Standard, - no turrets, etc)
Entry code: 747
Time: 7:30pm AEDST/9:30pm NZDST
Rules: Whatever Axe Sets Up

As always: No parties (they're turned off in the game options, now that it's an option), and remember to enable voice chat if you're feeling chatty, and remember to keep the atmosphere friendly and welcome to newcomers .

Back to the Battlefest this week     Axe, if you are keen to set the server up, I recon we go for a standard extended warzone type, FF on etc.

I was thinking if we keep it free and easy like last week, and then we'll hit up coop, set up a game or party up depending what people are keen on and who has what in terms of DLC, does that sound alright?

Yeah get a few MP games/maps in 1st as some players, Harvs n Gix, wont have the co-op.   Then do some co-op afterwards and/or pub stomping,

The update for the free maps will surely hit at some point during the evening

Getting the new maps now - any idea why things to do with Killzone always add twice to my downloads list?  it seems if I delete one it doesn't install properly.  I see 2x terminal/stormgratch map packs at 2258MB each there.

Whoops yeah that might be a bit of a long download straussy!  Super stress week at work this week, brain is so fried. Killzone skills are either gonna be terrible because of it, or exceptional as I'll be releasing all the rage I need to......

@ Siamese, here's hoping KZ:SF is a good counter to work, sounds like a not fun week.

Both of ours are the same mate, really annoying. I also had to jump through some hoops to even get it downloading.

+1 - I needed to delete the old ones in the DL list (not the game data, but the download notification list) for them to download at all.  A little clumsy.

Yeah, the download is like a batch of all of the previous map packs too. Had to cancel all of the old packs and the double of the new maps. Hopefully only the one 2.5gb file is all i need to download. Will join you guys soon!

Econ was dominating me in that first game so I was glad he ended up on my team in the 2nd game before I had to run off for dinner

Good fun games last night guys......Hope you enjoyed all the easy kills Axe!!!! I need to level up a little more than level 73 lol.....very limitied weapons lol

That last map was interesting!
