I'm Commander Shepherd, and that was my favourite trailer on the citadel .  Looks like they definitely want people moving on from Shep, which makes sense, and the end of the trilogy is a good time to do it.  Gives them a lot more story flexibility as well, which hopefully will be for the best .

It looks very slick, but as you say Aro, not entirely clear whether it's the more focussed, story-driven experience of Mass Effects prior or a more sandbox-y take.  Either could be good, mind - there aren't enough quality sci-fi RPGs of either sort .

I think everyone wants to move on a little from the trilogy, or 3 at least haha.

I do hope that any continuation captures more of the atmosphere/consistency of 1 than the sequels as the series really did get derailed a bit. Not surprising if you keep changing leads and writers midway but keep spruiking "every choice will shape your own journey".

Ofcourse exactly the samething can probably happen to Andromeda if they fly blind and staff changeover inevitably happens again.
