Anyone else get into the AusOpen? It's probably about the only tennis I get into but always love it every year... no doubt some late night 5 setters ahead.

Definitely feel sorry for Tomic, Rafa is the player that got me into liking tennis - he is a brutal machine and great to watch. I'll be honest, I laughed evilly when I saw that matchup. Good to see him (Rafa) back this year - last year was a little strange without him.

Nice one Clowny .  I don't really get into it, but I can appreciate the sport, and it's a comp from Melbourne, so as a Victorian (well, in spirit!) I still show an interest.  Is Tomic up against Rafa?  Good luck to him!

Yeah GC, I will be watching a fair bit as well.  Used to play a lot when I was younger and my older bro was an ATP ump for a while.

Gonna be cool to see Pat Rafter back on court.  He has been talking himself down but its only doubles so I recon they'll do ok for a round or 2, that and generation a few ticket sales

Damn it! I was hoping for an epic 5 setter - clearly Rafa playing some of the best tennis I've ever seen, Roger playing much better than he was last year but no competition for the might and brutality of the Spaniard. Both absolute legends though.

Li Na tomorrow night - hopefully she can win.

Hoping Wawrinka can bring his best like he did against Novak on Sunday so it's an epic!

Rafa only needs 4 more grand slams under his belt and he'll equal Federer - I'd say there's a good chance he'll win on Sunday, so that'll make it 3. He will become the best ever tennis player. But yeah, I always feel bad for Fed as well - he's such a great sportsman, true gentleman!

Wow, unbelievable! Stan on fire, definitely deserved that whether Nadal had problems with his back or not. It's a shame it had to go that way and probably one of the weirdest grand slam finals I've ever seen but good on Nadal for sticking it out and making it that little bit more special for Stan.
