Hey All,

I am really getting into BF4 and getting the itch to get back into scrims and maybe some competitive gaming with BF4.

So are any GG affiliated clans going down the Playstation BF4 comp/ladder route?  Need a good support/eng?

Or can anyone recommend a clan?

It would only be for BF4, so not looking at a restrictive or exclusive clan.

Happy to play on PS3 or PS4 (once I finish rebuilding it, breaking it and arguing about warranty etc :))

Always happy to join a GG crew in any scrims or comps, and help organise stuff, repair Outlaws chopper etc ;)  but also keen to get into it a bit more than that.

To be in a clan with Outlaw you have to have better bf4 stats than him :lonely: :P

lol not true at all. The only stats i care about is PTFO! But our clan isn't competitive at all.

hehe I only play the objective, more points . . . if you have a squad leader with half a brain.

My main gripe with most BF4 players is being squad leaders that do not set objectives to play for.  FFS its not hard to even accidently spot the objective but no, no bonus points for you in my squad. Tend to always create my own squad after joining each one by one and finding no squad objectives set :(

Actually played a game with a good sniper a few nights back in my squad that was spotting and providing cover, wait for it, at the set objective!!  Was in a Oblit game but he shot 2 peepz chasing me as I was setting a bomb, and shot the bomb carrier numerous times.

woohoo derailed my own thread for a change :P

Might aswell start up a GG crew then look around and get some challenges out?
Im sure most people have friends on their list that are looking for some extra competitive play, wouldnt be that difficult to get about 10 people interested.

Otherwise i'd say your best bet is 6a or something lol. Stay clear of cg.

Yeah depends on how competitive you want to play, we can start a GG crew but there will be a lot people that play casually. Do you also want a team that plays good and PTFO?

Well given that rented servers are still on the waiting list, I am in no rush.   Def looking for an objective focused clan, but I can do that over time myself :)

So will put some effort into getting a GG crew organised for casual play and grouping up on various platforms etc.

Crew members wont need to commit to any comps, scrims etc mainly for finding people to play with in pub games initially.  Anyway will post up a GG Battlefield Crew page later on today :)

I play objective!  when I'm squad leader I think I set objective..not sure how. But sometime I think I run out too much and didn't wait for my squad....(and wonder why no one back me up :P )

damn, outa likes again ;)

Just spot the objective like you would spot a player Ati with R2 on PS3 (or equiv on PC/XB/PS4).

haha I actually dont mind waiting for a player to run somewhere before I spawn on them, much easier to see 2 or 3 enemies than 1.  Let one play sneak in somewhere, then the rest of the squad can surprise spawn in :)

I spent a while the other night sneaking behind a group of 4 snipers on a hill on Rogue Trans, got one stealthy stab in then 2 squad mates spawn in and shoot the other 3 :(  and alert the sniper on the nearby tower who promptly headshot me hehe

Yeah to set an Objective Marker if you're squad leader is point at the objective and tap R2 on PS3 and R1 on PS4 - Hold the button for Command Rose to come up for giving other orders. If you're squad leader and there is a commander playing you also get more options like requesting UAV or Requesting supplies from Commander on your position.

I tend to only stay around friendly team mates if they have silenced weapons, If i'm running away from you its because I'm trying to be stealthy and you have a loud weapon :P

Haha, I'll remember this for the future.  LMGs are great, but they're not the quietest weapons in the world ;).
