Unfortunately, when you press F12 to take a screenshot on Rise of Flight, it also crashes the game, requiring a restart (PC gaming, beautiful one minute, CTD the next....), so I probably won't take too many from RoF, but it's a great game and wonderfully atmospheric :).  Doesn't support a gamepad (well, it does 'in theory' support a gamepad, but it's inconsistent, in that sometimes the buttons and sticks work as you've mapped them, and other times they don't!), so I have to use the joystick (which is better for the game, but more tiring for me, so can't play as often as I'd like), but it's a real treat B).

Here's some French fields, not in the warzone, as you can probably tell!

They're going to patch clouds into Wander, so I'll save more screenies of that for later, but AC:Unity is all patched out (and, by the sound of it, it was sensible to wait until that point to play it!), and being the history geek I am, I'm loving just checking out Ubi's take on 18th century Paris - here's a few shots of the City  :).

Look out, more photos from Paris :).

The peripheral detail is very impressive.

How are you taking those screenshots Axe? Is there a theater mode or something similar?

Nah, I go into options and turn the HUD off, then get myself close to a wall or something that makes the camera pop out in front of the character.  Deffo not as flexible or easy as a normal photo mode, but it's probably good for the sake of this thread that I'm a bit limited - I can't promise I'll be able to contain myself when I do my next run through The Order, with a full photo mode available ;).

Forgot to post these up before and just remembered - here's a couple of shots from the Metro 2033 journey. Bigger versions if you click on the image and press the magnifying glass.

Very schmexy B).  In a nuclear-winter kind of way ;).  It does scrub up very nicely, particularly for a game back then, 4A did a great job of future-proofing the visuals (and, from what I heard, melting high-end rigs when it released :)).

Yeah - used to be poorly optimised, hence why it was a bastard and used in so many benchmark tests. They've definitely fixed it for the Redux though, I think they used the same engine as Last Light. But agree - doesn't look too shabby for a 5+ year old game. As usual - looks even better in motion.

Another happy snap from Revolutionary Paris, and a quick random shot from DriveClub (one of the free DLC Japanese tracks, which looked very nice - I didn't pick the best frame for the shot).  Bonus points if you can tell which is which :P.

The game has a photo mode which makes it real easy. If only Witcher had one.

A last couple of AC:Unity screenies and one showing off CounterSpy's art style.

Pruning the vines (the character had specific vine-pruning animations, which I thought was impressive attention to detail)

More (and the last, I promise :P) AC:Unity detail.  This is a random room - not from a mission.

And now for something completely different :D
