The library's pretty important for these kind of things - the value of $15/month is hugely dependent on the quality of the catalogue.  Thanks for the info .  Shame it's not up to snuff.  Hope you get a free movie or two out of it .

You telling me I have to pay a subscription and then pay for the individual shows I want to watch? F* that. Ripoff.

Edit: Had more of a look around. There are things you can stream now but it's not any of the good stuff, it's all the old shit movies. They lock all the good stuff behind another pay wall.

Quickflix is a joke in my view. Small selection however you try to look at it. the only unique thing is a few HBO shows but it's sporadic and limited what is on offer. Very small selection of films. No where near a relative option to services being offered overseas. I thought about using the trial but it wasn't even worth that to me lol (harsh I know).

The only plus I can see Quickflix has if you really don't want to setup any sort of way to get around geoblocking so you can access Netflix/Hulu but I don't know if it's worth it even then with how much it costs per month and what you actually gain access to.

Before I setup just that the only online service I used was/is Mubi, basically an online curated cinema http://au.mubi.com. It's not for everyone though I guess as they only show arthouse/foreign or classic cinema. The most well known film that was on it recently was probably Drive. It is cheap though at only $5 a month, cheaper if you just pay a full year. They just recently released a apple app too. Waiting on Android.
