Even private RnD these days is getting hard to get into for biomedical sciences :/

This is a bloody travesty, although it helps explain how the Lib/Nats came up with their broadband policy .  Here's hoping they're only a one-termer - Science is incredibly important in this day and age, and has been for over 250 years from an economic perspective (something the Lib/Nats carry on about all the time).
