Well we have a general discussion thread for movies so why not tv shows?

I have just downloaded season 1 of House of Cards starring Kevin Spacey. Enjoying it and it made me laugh when he was playing Killzone 3 at his age :P



Its a nice dose of drama before Newsroom season 2 starts to air again.

This is a bit on the older side now, but gone back to watch all four seasons of Blackadder - still quality stuff, after more than a couple of years now ;).

For the breaking bad fans out there mythbusters did a special episode for you (hopefully it doesn't get pulled from youtube anytime soon)

Anyone been watching 'Shingeki no Kyojin ('Attack on Titan')?



It's quite a good show and very big at the moment. Great action sequences.

They're about half way through the 1st season at this point.

Watched it the other week on tv... I think the last season starts soon - early August from memory!

Its just one of those series where you really need to be a fan of it.. Was pretty good the first couple seasons then it just got boring

Yeah it was strong up until season 7. Season 8 has been pretty weak but only 2 episodes left I think till the show is over so will see if it finishes strong.

I thought Dexter had one of the best 1st seasons of TV I've ever seen.  But it was all downhill from there.  The characters are quite likeable so that kept me watching.  

Season 8 has (imo) turned out to be one worst seasons of TV ever.  The complete opposite of season 1.  I'm kinda watching in neutral now just to see what happens at the end.  Episode 11 is probably going to end in a 'cliff hanger' so will hold off watching it and watch 11 and 12 together.

Yeah I've been watching it since the start. Almost lost me in those first few episodes but I'm so glad that I kept going.

The characters are some of the best I've ever seen. And the show is so cut-throat, it's amazing, they're not afraid to crush your favourite character and not even give it a second thought.

I love it.

Last episode of Dexter last night and it was a pile of sh*t.  I didn't even care about what happened to the characters, which sucks as the characters used to be its strongest part.  It's a shame that Dexter ended up like this as it started out as a pretty good TV show.
