I came super close to getting MGS4. Christmas, parents wanted options I gave MGS4 or Resistance 2. Got Resistance 2.
Just never got around to having a look at it after that, with other games I was more interested in taking preference.
PS1 was still new to games and young so stuck to racing and a few platformers wasn't until PS2 did I start to venture into other and I guess luck of the draw just never came across any of the PS2 games.

Also haven't even played COD that much. Played a bit of COD2 SP, and COD4, MW2 system link on Xbox when at a friends. So all up probably played less that a few hours of the COD series.

I've read that epending on how you play you might not meet either of these character in your playthrough.

I've never played a MGS game but this certainly looks the goods from what I've seen of it. I think there's a big chance if me picking this up at some time.

Game looks more awesome after every trailer. DD (the dog) is so cute and even wears an eyepatch like Big Boss

I deffo recommend checking out MGS:GZ Spec - it's a nice little taster, and good fun to boot, and should be pretty cheap if you wait for a sale on it.  I reckon you'd enjoy it, although apologies in advance if I'm off the mark.

Yeah I was a bit tempted to get it around when I finished SC: Blacklist cause of the whole sneaking around in such a large area but still had some other games to get through so held off, then NFS: Rivals kinda turned me off any cross-gen games, so I may look to get it on PS4 or PC at a later date.

The PC community have already gotten busy with modding. I give you Kojima on an infiltration mission.



Makes me wonder how the modding scene will be for MGSV proper.  Might get pretty exciting with how huge it's going to be.

Hahaha, very funny stuff, nice find Smokey .  I reckon the modders will have a lot of fun with MGSV:PP if it's easy enough to mod - any idea how easy it was to mod MGSV:GZ?

Dunno about easy but it does seem pretty active with a massive thread going in the steam forums with the tools being there and discussed/worked on as they go so it's early days. They apparently have managed to do a few things that were missing from the PC release like custom helicopter music but the instructions do look complicated at this stage O_o

PC people are pretty excited to get the MGS love I think haha. I have to say after playing some Total War Rome 2 I'm even more impressed by the Fox engine which runs flawlessly on my system. They did a great job with it.
