I've spent over ten times more on my PS4 than I have on BF4, and it's crashed a whole heap less .  Unlike BF4, my PS4 works 99% of the time and did at launch what it was advertised to do (and as far as I know, the XB1 was pretty much the same). failed last night, was playing Rush with dunny, batty and testy and game crashed (Thank you for your co-operation).... subsequently later that night, i keep getting kicked out of the voice party chat and eventually got kicked from the game.

thought of taking a break from COD to play BF4, so much disappointment.... *end rant*

Thanks for the vid CAD, nice to know.  Gave it a run this arvo, and it crashed at the end of a match 15 minutes into the session, so it's still got a ways to go.  Once I was in again, seemed reasonable enough, I haven't noticed an increase in lag, but I've always felt the BF series has been on the laggier side of dedicated server games, and it hasn't moved away from that either.

It'll get there, they're working had on it, and it's soooooo much better than it was at the PS4's launch (which apparently was better than when it launched in the US), and when it does work, it's good fun

They just need to increase the fun vs disappointment ration.  Tried a few games post patch on Friday night, played rush and game crashed after 2 rounds, tried conquest and still had jitter issues after the half-way mark, on p-storm.

there was still fun on friday, played with batty, dunny and testy on rush. lone ranger = no fun

yeah I never play lone ranger in BF, normally running with some old VVV lads or old BFBC2 mates.

Aye, if you can bloody join on people it's fine - my BF4 still doesn't give me an option to join on friends (it knows my friends are playing, but when I go to the MP menu it says none of my friends are online).  Then when I go to through server browser, using the server number, it only works some of the time (75% or so in my experience, but I haven't done it enough for that number to mean much).  You're dead right, when you play with friends, it's great, but it is harder to play with friends in BF4 than any shooter I've played in the last half-decade, with the exception of the crazily set-up Brink.

i joined my friends on the PS4 UI. works everytime

Glad it works for you at least .  I've tried that 3-4 times, and it's failed every time to date, so haven't tried it in a patch or two - fifth time lucky perhaps? .

Besides GG site, what is the best site for clan recruitment for BF4?

Really started to enjoy BF4 once I worked out to filter game types and only search for HC mode. Heaps more realistic than cod. Now to make a site for my clan as we are only on the ghosts clan app and facebook.

Another option is to rent a server and title it "clan recruitment" or something to entice players to come find you
