I'm a big fan (and always have been) of the combination of variety and quality that tend to end up on Playstation platforms, like the Ni No Kuni's. Speaking of which, a new Ace Combat game .

Agree... the Ace Combat trailer didn't do anything for me though.

It looks like Studio Ghibli isn't directly involved with this one, however the character designer and composer are which is probably all they'd need. From the look of the trailer, it certainly captured that Studio Ghibli feel which pretty much gets me every time.

I'm way behind in playing (keep needing to restart yakuza 4) but I do love the series. Looks awesome

Really am interested in seeing the similarities and differences they take the story, if my PS3 is still kicking when I get around to this I might give 1 a play through again just before to have it fresh in my mind again.

Some good info in it about weapon upgrades, how it and the movie go together and how the story has been changed and how its told now.

Enjoying a few of the livecasts popping up on the psx playlist now.

Wow! Now that's how you do a remake. It's amazing how far we've come from the PS2 days.,, I was always a bigger fan of J&D though.

Well, I'm sold on NI-OH.

Basically Dark Souls x Onimusha and I'm on board with that.

The game has a lot of DS like mechanics but the combat feels more in depth.(several stances, combo finishes etc.). There is also a cool mechanic where other players that have died appear as a little grave (you can see one in the background of my picture) and you can summon an A.I. controlled ver. of that player and if you kill it it can drop copies of the items the other player was wearing at death.

Though I will say as good fun as the combat is it still needs some tightening.
