I think: Hope it's not an FPS.

My thoughts are, I'm not that keen on Guerilla Games, they're too much like Crytek. No doubt it'll look great and it'd be good to be proven wrong and they create a masterpiece.

Hmmm....that looks like a monster giraffe with a spoiler that swallowed a plate.  A big plate.

I actually quite liked the gameplay in the Killzone series, but definitely on the same page as Aro when I'd like them to branch out.  There's been rumours they've been working on an RPG.  That said, for an RPG, writing is very important, and writing isn't something that GG's been particularly good at so far.  It doesn't look like Killzone, and it's good to see them trying something different.  I haven't the foggiest idea what could explain the giant plate-swallowing giraffe, but that doesn't mean there's not a good reason for it ;).

Not sure if i trust them to make something good, what i read online seems sort of interesting though.

Quote

"Let’s see based on what I can remember. The game is set in a post apocalyptic future where robots have evolved into animals/dinosaurs and humans have devolved into pre-civilization tribes of Hunters/Gatherers who are surviving off the land making weapons and armor out of robot parts.
You play as one of your tribe’s hunters who’s this girl that is fascinated with exploring the ruins of our old civilization."

"They showed us some early concept gameplay, it seemed like one of the more unique aspect of the gameplay was that your character uses rope arrows to tangle up those giant dinobots like AT-ATs in Empire Strikes Back
They make it seem like there would be either class based co-op or your character would have some sort of NPCs fighting along side her. It seems like an open world third person action RPG and they claim the map will be extra huge."

You know what is interesting, ice cream, how many flavours can one type of food have!
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee."   Jules Winnfield

We could take bets on how many flavours of ice cream are in GG's next game?  What would Rico-flavoured ice cream taste like......

Thought I'd post this up here for a reminder to me (I know, how selfish!)... doubt anyone else would be interested in it and I'm a little iffy on it myself but the video might not do it justice.

Hmmm...reckon that could go either way Clowny - deffo potential for pinball fans like yourself, but I could see the voice acting getting old very quick.  Gameplay itself will depend heavily on quality of pinball table layout/depth.  Good luck :).

Yeah - these are probably the main reasons why I'm iffy but it could be a really bad example in the video (particularly how it's cut/edited) and I still want to see the final outcome. I'd never heard of it before, just bumped into it and would definitely be something I'd forget about easily.

EDIT - The pausing in the gameplay I reckon is a no no as well, along with the dialogue boxes popping up over the play field.

Has anyone played the Bind of Isaac: Rebirth? It seems to be getting good reviews but I'm not sure whether to download it from PS+. Is it really that good?

Haven't played it yet (probs give it a look in a week or two), but I've heard positive vibes from it from numerous angles, so I'd say it's well worth a download.  At the very least, put it in your library so you can play it in 2016 after you've finished Dragon Age: Inquisition and Witcher 3 :D.
