Exclusive to PlayStation 4: DRIVECLUB

I am looking forward to this, looks good, I was interested in Project Cars but I may lean towards this for its most likely relaxed view on realism. Evo have outdone GT in car detail even the hands look good, definitely hyped for this game.
It had better have the Zonda R in it even the car isn't street legal and can't race in any series I still love that car.

If you can race with team mates etc it would be a cool concept and could be some real fun!

Yeah - this was definitely one of the stand outs. Great to see Evolution doing something less arcadey - more akin to their rally days, without the rally of course. Should get the crew at Turn 10 a little nervous.

The whole team-based, club gameplay is interesting. Most racing games these days are very solo and any racing fan would know that there is generally an entire team involved. I look forward to giving a couple of "Fernando is faster than you" messages to team mates.

Aye, the whole team-racing thing sounds great, and'll hopefully help make racing games a bit more social online.  I like how they talked about that there'd be things for all levels of racers to enjoy, so that you don't need to be kick-arse at the game to still have fun as part of your club - social gaming enabled across different skill levels FTW B).

Hmm haven't really played any racing games, this gen or last. Might have to get into it for next gen, will need a racing wheel!

Yeah mate - the only way to play them is with a wheel (sim-racers), otherwise they're boring.

Ironing board. Works wonders. I had to do that with my old desk.

Back on topic, Good to see Polyphony might have some competition ;D

Evolution might go for more arcade handling - would be surprised if Sony had two first-party sim racers and no arcade one - and Evolution's recent history has been in arcade, although their physics models from their WRC days were plenty sim.  Either way, I think the social aspect sounds really good, really looking forward to it - this could be my most anticipated PS4 game at this stage...

I think Evo will lean towards Sim handling but still make it accessible. I guess it will be similar to PGR which was Xbox's in-between Forza and NFS series. Evo definitely leant towards Sim for the WRC series and the first Motorstorm wasn't as arcadey has Apocalypse.

Yeah I played Bizarres games ever since Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast. Played all the PGR's on the original Xbox and 360 as well. Kudos to them (pun intended). Hell, even Geometry Wars was a top game... but it'll be good to have something similar. Forza you can change from absolute beginner to hardcore sim so it covers one extreme to the other.

Giving a PS+ version away at launch is good to build the player base and give a taste for those who weren't going to get it. Not so good for those that are though.

Off screen gameplay.

I like the different time/score comparisons throughout the track but of course without friends they wouldn't have much of a point.

According to that link, it's still a not-particularly-well sourced rumour with other counter-rumours at this stage.  Would be a shame if it doesn't make the launch, but it's not like it's Killzone not making it.  As per Watch Dogs, I'd prefer polished game later to rushed game at launch.

DRIVECLUB delayed until early 2014

By I_live_4_fun in Gaming News, on 18 October 2013 - 07:56 PM

SCE Worldwide Studios and the team at Evolution Studios have made the difficult decision to delay the release of DRIVECLUB and DRIVECLUB PlayStation Plus Edition until early 2014. As one of the biggest and most anticipated titles in the PlayStation 4 launch line-up this year, this would definitely come as a disappointment to many potential Day...
